PARK VIEW GUEST HOUSE, York – A Smart Stay in the City

The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of York's city center, offering good value for money. The rooms were cozy but had some issues like a cold start with hot water only at the end of the stay and a small en-suite with cobwebs. The service was friendly and accommodating, although a power adaptor was not available. The dining options varied from mediocre to exceptional, and the hotel is situated perfectly for exploring the city by foot.

The guest house is ideally located near the city with easy access to all pubs and amenities. The rooms are tidy and well-presented, featuring lovely beds and linen, although they can feel a bit cramped at times. The service is top-notch, with really helpful and friendly staff, a huge tasty breakfast, and the added bonus of having an Indian Restaurant that can deliver food to the guest house. The location is excellent for exploring the town center, and there are local Indian cuisine options recommended by the manager. The dining experience offers a delightful smell of cooked breakfast in a nice and cozy dining room. Overall, it's a convenient place with some minor room size concerns.

The hotel was beautiful and clean, with big and comfortable rooms offering everything we needed. The friendly staff and free parking were a bonus. However, the lack of bedside tables and poor lighting for reading, as well as the absence of a comfy chair in the room, were slight downsides. The breakfast was good, but slightly inconsistent in quality and timing.
